Rubberizing

Rubberizing is a specialized coating technique that applies a durable rubber layer to metal surfaces. This process enhances the metal’s performance in demanding environments by providing superior protection against corrosion, abrasion, and
chemical exposure.

How Rubberizing Works
1. Surface Preparation
2. The metal is thoroughly cleaned and sometimes sandblasted to remove rust,
scale, and contaminants, ensuring strong adhesion.
3. Primer Application
A bonding primer is applied to create a secure interface between the metal and the
rubber coating.
4. Rubber Coating

Liquid rubber or rubber sheets are applied to the prepared surface. Depending on
requirements, this can be done through spraying, dipping, or vulcanization.
5. Curing
The coated metal is cured under controlled conditions to achieve maximum strength
and elasticity.
